How to extend the service life of stainless steel tube heat exchangers?
Stainless steel tube heat exchangers are widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries. Their service life is affected by multiple factors such as material properties, working conditions and maintenance levels. Here are key measures to extend the life of your equipment:
One is to strictly control the quality of media. A multi-stage filtering device is set up at the entrance to intercept particulate impurities, and the sediment in the liquid storage tank is regularly cleaned; the circulating water is softened and corrosion inhibitors are added to reduce the chloride ion concentration and avoid the risk of pitting corrosion. For materials containing suspended solids, a side-stream filtration system is used to keep the flow channel clear.
The second is to optimize operating parameters. Strictly control the temperature gradient change rate to avoid thermal stress deformation caused by sudden cooling and sudden heating; set up a flow alarm device to avoid local overheating at low flow rates. The frequency conversion adjustment pump unit is used to evenly distribute the fluid to each heat exchange tube to reduce erosion and corrosion caused by biased flow.
The third is to strengthen anti-corrosion protection. Perform solution treatment on welded joints to eliminate the tendency of stress corrosion, and polish the inner wall toRa≤0.8μmReduce the wall-hanging effect; regularly apply anti-corrosion paint to form an isolation barrier. Install a sacrificial anode block in the gas-liquid interface area to delay metal loss through electrochemical protection.
The fourth is to standardize the maintenance process. Establish a leak detection system and use a helium mass spectrometer leak detector to locate tiny leak points; disassemble and check the aging of sealing gaskets every quarter, and replace damaged PTFE-coated gaskets.
Through the combination of media purification, parameter control, active protection and precision maintenance, it can be improved
